Shaun Browne, Chairman Advisory Committee
BEC, MBA
Shaun Browne has led AME Group for 25 years. He coordinates and drives AME’s group strategy and global business operations. Shaun has pioneered, developed and run large-scale research platforms for the resources and basic industries sectors. He has authored expert and consulting reports across many commodities and advised on numerous transactions.
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Lloyd Hain
BE (Mining), BSc (Hons), MAusIMM
Lloyd Hain heads AME’s research and consulting divisions. He is responsible for the executive management of the AME Research Group. His principal interest is developing AME's work relating to infrastructure, transactions and financing in the resources industry, as well as strategic and project advice. Lloyd is a mining engineer with considerable depth of experience in industry having worked in technical, operational and management roles. He has experience in the planning and operation of many types of deposits from simple, single seam to highly complex, faulted, steeply dipping, multi-seam environment.
INDIGENOUS AFFAIRS
Joe Ross, Senior Consultant
Joe Ross, member of the Bunuba people in the Kimberley region, has been working in Indigenous affairs since 1992. He is the Chairperson of the Indigenous Youth Leadership Program and has held a range of leadership positions, including Director of the Australian Indigenous Leadership Centre, Director of the Enterprise Career Education Foundation, and National Indigenous English Literacy and Numeracy Strategy Ambassador. Mr Ross is a graduate of the Australian Rural Leadership Program and was awarded a Centenary medal for his active role in creating innovative leadership programs to provide skills and development opportunities for young Indigenous leaders.

Leonard Rowe, External Advisor

Leonard is an experienced mining consultant with 10+ years’ experience in iron ore, coal, copper, uranium and gold. Specialising in Autonomous Haulage Systems (AHS), mine design, emissions engineering and management of open pit operations. Leonard provides engineering and technical marketing expertise in analysing various commodity markets globally.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Daryl Borbajo, Relationship Manager
BE (Civil)
Daryl is an experienced marketing and sales executive, with a civil engineering background. He builds strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients. He manages major accounts and consultancy projects by assessing the individual needs of the clients and works closely with them to ensure they can maximise the potential of AME’s research and analysis. Prior to joining AME, Daryl worked in the engineering and medical software sectors.
LIGHT METALS
Andrew Denton, Technical Services
BE (Chem) (Hon), MPM
Andrew is a process engineer with considerable practical experience within alumina refining operations. He has experience in data analysis, process modelling and improvement and has contributed to on-site process impact assessments and feasibility studies. Prior to joining AME Andrew held several site based technical positions in process development, projects and refinery operations in Queensland, Australia. His experience spans the alumina production chain, covering digestion, precipitation, settling and materials handling.
OIL & GAS
William Vlahovic, Senior Consultant

William Vlahovic is a senior geoscientist with 35 years’ experience in coal, oil and gas exploration, development, consulting and management. William has worked as a coal geologist, unconventional oil and gas geoscientist and exploration manager for various organisations including: the NSW State Government, junior global oil and gas exploration and production company Molopo Energy and Queensland coal seam gas production company Petrochina International Investment (Australia) where he was involved in the management, assessment, evaluation and divestment of their various coal and petroleum assets in Australia, USA and China.

Stacey Wang, Team Leader Copper Supply
BE (Mining) (Hons), M.Eng (Mining), M.Eng (Project Management)
Stacey is the team leader of copper supply at AME. Her focus includes site-by-site analysis, supply and pricing forecasts, as well as process modelling for copper and base metals. She is an experienced on-site operator and practised in open-pit mine design and short-to-long-term scheduling. Prior to joining AME, Stacey worked as an open-pit mining engineer in Western Australia and China.

Min Seok Park, Technical Manager
BE (Mining)
Min is an experienced coal analyst and mining engineer. He has strong, comprehensive knowledge of underground mine planning, ventilation, process optimisation, life-of-mine scheduling, and project valuation. Prior to his tenure at AME, Min worked at Korea’s state-owned mining company, Korea Resources Corporation, before moving on to work as a project mining engineer for a greenfield coal project in NSW, Australia.

Jason Koller, Team Leader Steel Supply

Jason is an experienced ferrous metal analyst and manages AME steel cost services, which is based upon detailed site-by-site analysis and basic research. His expertise includes supply and pricing forecasts along with process modelling for the steel industry. Prior to joining AME, Jason was employed in the steel fabrication and construction services, associated with the telecommunication industry.
IRON ORE
Wang Ye, Senior Analyst
BEng (Mechanical), BEng (Mining) (Hons Class 1)
Wang has practical experience in underground coal mine operations, cost and market analysis. Wang is a senior analyst with a focus on mine-by-mine analysis, including geological setting, mining methods, mineral processing, production forecasts and cost analysis. He is also responsible for researching the global iron ore market and covers the supply relationships between global suppliers and end-users in China. Before joining AME, Wang Ye had 9 years’ experience of mechanical engineering at Toshiba.

Kelly-Louise Greene, Supply Analyst
BSc
Kelly has over 7 years’ experience as an analyst in the rail freight and logistics sector in the UK, focussing on the development of analytical platforms. Kelly is a senior analyst in the non-ferrous metals teams and leads our research on supply from gold and precious metals operations and projects. She has also been involved in the development of AME’s lithium supply database, and building our research in the battery materials supply chain.

Allyson Chau, Analyst

Allyson is a battery metal analyst at AME. Her work focuses on the integration of engineering projects with business analytics. She is responsible for the site-by-site analysis and production forecasts of nickel and other battery minerals, with a focus on the Asia-Pacific region.
